Meet Our Youth Volunteers: Making a Difference in Jacksonville

From sorting donations to leading environmental initiatives, our 150+ youth volunteers are the heart of SparkCreatives.

# Meet Our Youth Volunteers

The SparkCreatives Youth Volunteer Network is 150+ strong and growing. These young leaders dedicate their time to sorting donations, organizing materials, and leading environmental education programs.

## What They Do

Our volunteers meet weekly to:
- **Sort donated materials** for Spark Boxes
- **Create eco-kits** for community education
- **Lead sustainability workshops** in local schools
- **Organize community clean-up events**

## The Numbers

- **12,000 lbs** of material diverted from landfills
- **50+ community events** organized
- **300+ volunteer hours** logged monthly

## Spotlight: Environmental Leadership

Led by Lucas Lamban, our Environmental Research Lead, the youth network has pioneered community garden projects and eco-education curriculum used in Jacksonville schools.

"These young people aren't just volunteering—they're **leading**. They're shaping the future of sustainability in our community," says Maureen Lamban, Board Member.
